I have lived and worked in Monmouth for over 25 years and have a B.A.(Hons) in Fine Art - painting studying at both Hereford College of Art and Design and Cheltenham College of Art and Media. My recent work has reflected the changing seasons within the Forest Of Dean utilising both figurative and abstract forms and employing a variety of media. Therefore, seeking inspiration from natural forms and gestures and by using a variety of materials I aim to act with intent and a sense of mindfulness. There is action and reaction; the image unfurls as each element seeks its own space and balance. Due to the long drying times that are an intrinsic part of my paintings, I do not keep regular studio hours. Please ring me if you wish to view my work, I can usually open my studio at short notice |
