In today's busy world, it's not always possible to volunteer your time or support to help build a vibrant community or to help improve the lives of vulnerable people.
There are many ways you can support us through gifts and donations. This might not always necessarily be purely by giving money - we have many friends in the community who support us by offering their services for nothing or at a very reduced cost e.g. by printing our newsletters or making sure our trees are safe in the gardens.
Please remember that Bridges, a local and independent charity, acts alone or with others to help care for the people of Monmouth and to provide a centre for activities which help build a strong community. A gift in your will can make an enormous difference and your generosity and kindness will help safeguard the future for our many needy or aging citizens and will help to build links ('Bridges') across the whole community.
A gift in your will is one of the most effective ways you can help us continue our work and your legacy is exempt from all inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax.
It's quite straight forward to set up a legacy and you can leave as little or as much as you like. We always recommend that you consult a legally qualified expert when making a will. It need not be expensive and it can ensure peace of mind to know that you are 'doing your bit'.
