My Life My Choices Cooperative is run by a group of people in Monmouthshire who are setting up a Citizen-Led Direct Payments Cooperative with help from Disability Wales and the Wales Cooperative Centre.

We are looking for an exceptional person who can help us set up our Cooperative so that more people in Monmouthshire and other parts of Wales can use Direct Payments to have more voice, choice and control in the way that they live their lives.

  • Bridges Community Shop is now open! 

    Our shop on Monnow Street is now open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.  Of particular interest within the store is the 'Kids Zone' which features fabulous quality kids clothing, toys and books.  The best thing about our new shop is that every penny raised will stay in Monmouthshire for the benefit of local people!  

    We are still looking for donations, which can now be dropped off:

    • At the shop
    • In the textile bank in Bridges Centre car park
    • At Bridges Centre reception

    Councillor Graham Pritchard, Mayor of Monmouth, is set to open our brand new Bridges Community Shop on Monnow Street, Monmouth at 10.30am on Friday May 6th.

    Please come along and show your support. Donations of good quality adult and children’s clothing, usable toys and saleable books and bric a brac are still needed and can be dropped off at the shop or at Bridges Centre, Wonastow Road, Monmouth.


  • London Marathon 2016


    Our very own Finance lady Laura Hayward has run the 2016 London Marathon for Bridges! Her training has paid off and she has raised £2,592.05! Thank you to everyone that sponsored and supported her!


  • Volunteers Needed!

    If you have a few hours a week to spare we would love to hear from you!
